Shopping and Eating

I had a great day today op-shopping (Salvos, Quakers and Red Cross). I found these Actil sheets in their original box.
I found the little brochure in another pile of sheets. I might make it into a new blog header.
Pyrex, more knitting needles, ricrac and hooks and eyes Don't you love Madame Weigel's?

8 balls of 4 ply cotton (hope it's good and not a dud because I really like cotton) Making these

while eating thisWarm Apple Crumble (from mum's Pryex) with custard. Mmm

Such lovely finds! I never get lucky with the thrifting. My local vinnies is a rip off. Might try somewhere else next time.

Great cotton. That would be a good thing to go thrifting for. I think I'm addicted to cotton string bags. Echo the sentiments about your fab opshops. I must find some in walking distance!

right where do you live I must move there! I find none of that good stuff at my local store...loads of knitting patterns but now I find I have them but your haul is faaaaaaaaaabulous!
