Patterns & Patterns

I just can't stop looking at this fabric. It's one of five cafe curtains, op-shopped, of course. There is so much happening in the pattern that there is something to look at every time. They are thermal backed and in pristine condition. I reckon they'd be great as a bag. And if I was a skirt person!

You never know when someone might need a cape or pirate costume, do you?
I'm not really down with the whole Flickr thing yet. I don't think I've been linking properly back to Flickr. How are you meant to do it? I 'blogged' these two pics in separate posts from Flickr then put them together. But there's got to be a better way to upload in Blogger.

Whoa - that fabric is full on!

In Flickr: if you click on the photo you want to blog, there's a button above it that says "all sizes".

Click on that, then select the size you want from the top menu (I usually go for medium). Click on the size you want, and when the page loads, there are some codes at the bottom that you can copy and paste directly into your Blogger post as you go.

This will show your photo, and also make it clickable to take people back to your Flickr page.

Easy!

Good Luck!

That fabric so reminds me of a Henri Rousseau painting - it could be the backdrop canvas !

Love it !

Great fabric!

I'm not much help re: Flickr as I load pics to my blog from my harddrive and then decide what goes to Flickr. Not everything I blog ends up in Flickr and not everything in Flickr is on my blog...

And now my brain hurts! ;-)

I do exactly what leah says- except it kinda shits me cos you hvae to load the photo twice. I like google photos how you just click on the side and it give you the code without reloading the photo. But I think I just confused you so just do what leah says :) Also loving the fabric! Plenty for multiple projects. You could make callots :P

I upload loads of photos in Flickr and when I want to add a photo to my blog I do the following. I click on the photo I want in Flickr (on the main page) and then when it loads I right click it and select 'copy image location'. Then I click the 'Add Image' button in Blogger and paste in the location of the photo. I tend to just adjust the image size by pushing/pulling the margins of the photo once it has been inserted into the diary entry.

after reading all the comments about photos and Flickr my head is done in but then I am a techno pigmy bigtime!! I LOVE the fabric! I love to find curtains in op shops that have the thermal backing as it is a great strength for bags. I found some this week (haven't taken a photo yet) but it's nowhere near as groovy as yours!!!

Wowsers! That fabric almost makes me dizzy (in a good way of course). But the pattern has to be the treasure of this post. I mean who can go past the novelty of mother and son pirate outfits?

I think I feel a dress-up sewing binge coming on.
