I have this tin also - it's one of my faves. It came loaded with buttons from eBay and it was a surprise as the seller didnt post a photo of the front. I had no idea what I was getting; I was only interested in the buttons!

I used to stare at that picture of the soldier and the lady *forever*, dreaming little girl dreams....
Dad used to give Mum one of those Quality Street tins for Christmas each year. I liked the toffee one's and my sister liked the creams so we used to wickedly sort though and deplete mum of her lovely chocolates.
Yep, I have one too. I've used it in the past as the money tin for market stalls. Yours is in really good nick!
